At-home Whitening:
At-home whitening is the most popular approach in teeth whitening today. Your dentist takes impressions of your teeth and makes you a custom fit tray. You will ten fill the trays with whitening gel and wear them for roughly 45 minutes to an hour. If this whitening process is done under supervision of your dentist, at home whitening is very effective and could create a very bright smile for you.
In-office Whitening:
In-office whitening is a less frequent and more expensive take to teeth whitening. The procedure takes about 45 minutes to an hour in the dental office. To protect your mouth, a gel-like substance is placed on your gums and a rubber dam is placed in your cheeks. The bleaching solution is then placed on your teeth and sits on your teeth for 4 ten minute sessions.
